An evacuation panel differs from an ordinary amplifier by supervising its lines and running from a battery, so it is the one installed in a fire safety system. The A+B loop keeps working even if a speaker line breaks, and zoning lets you announce to floors separately. For background music and announcements in a shop, restaurant or school a DSPPA amplifier is enough, and speakers are chosen by total power: the sum of speaker wattages on a line must not exceed the amplifier rating. Equipment is sold by the piece or as kits at wholesale prices with next-day delivery in Tbilisi.

Frequently asked questions

How does a voice evacuation panel differ from a regular amplifier?

To EN54-16 the panel supervises its speaker lines, runs from a battery when mains power fails and starts the announcement automatically on a fire signal. A regular amplifier is meant for background music and general announcements, not for evacuation.

How do I choose the number and power of speakers?

Add up the speaker wattages in a zone and keep a 20–30% margin on the panel or amplifier. Many speakers have switchable power (for example 1.5/3/6 W), so a lower tap is used in small rooms and a higher one in large halls.

When is an EN54-24 speaker required?

As a rule, speakers in a voice evacuation system must be EN54-24 certified and fire-resistant so they keep working during a fire. For background music an ordinary ceiling speaker is enough.
