The profile is chosen by ceiling height and style: a narrow, plain profile looks better on a low ceiling, a wide, ornate one on a high ceiling. Polystyrene is cheaper and lighter, while polyurethane is denser and more precise in shape. Work out the lengths and the number of joints in advance, and use ready-made corner pieces for the corners. ASB Trade sells profiles by the piece from its Tbilisi warehouse, with pickup or delivery.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a polystyrene and a polyurethane cornice?

Polystyrene is lighter and cheaper but more brittle. Polyurethane is denser, reproduces the relief accurately and lasts longer.

What should I use to fix a ceiling cornice?

A special adhesive suited to the material of the profile. The label on the adhesive says which materials it is made for.

How do I calculate the amount I need?

Measure the perimeter of the room and divide it by the length of one profile, then add a small allowance for cutting. Buy the corner pieces separately.
