How do I choose a drill bit for the material?

Concrete and brick need an SDS-plus bit for a rotary hammer or a carbide-tipped masonry bit for a drill, metal takes an HSS bit, wood a brad-point bit, and tile a spear-point or diamond bit. The shank must match the chuck type and diameter.

Which cutting disc fits my angle grinder?

The outer diameter of the disc must equal the grinder size or be smaller (115, 125, 180 or 230 mm), with a 22.2 mm bore. The maximum speed printed on the disc must not be lower than the grinder's speed.

Which screwdriver bit fits my screw?

The bit must match the screw head profile: PH (cross), PZ (cross with extra ribs), SL (slotted), T/Torx (star) or hex. Pick the size number to suit the screw; the standard 1/4" hex shank fits the chuck of a screwdriver or drill.
