Measuring & safety

Measuring tools are tapes, spirit levels, laser levels and distance meters, voltage detectors from Stanley, INGCO, DeWalt and Toolmak. On the protection side are gloves from INGCO, POLUS and BRAVO, safety helmets from BYLION, protective equipment such as goggles, including ELANPLAST, ear defenders, disposable ear plugs, respirators and raincoats, and work footwear from INGCO and other makers, including winter boots.

Choose measuring tools by the accuracy you need: a tape for simple measurements, a level for walls and flat surfaces. Protection must match the risks of the job: goggles and ear plugs for cutting and noisy work, gloves for manual work, a helmet at height, footwear on site. ASB Trade sells everything by the piece or by the pack at wholesale prices, with next-day delivery in Tbilisi.

Frequently asked questions

What do S1, S2 and S3 mean on work footwear?

These are protection classes under EN ISO 20345. S1 has a protective toe cap and antistatic sole; S2 adds water penetration resistance; S3 adds a puncture-resistant sole with a cleated tread. Choose the class by the risks on your site.

Which gloves should I take for manual work?

For general installation, gloves with a latex or polyurethane coating are suitable, since they improve grip. For sharp parts and building materials, leather or cut-resistant gloves are better; the size should fit snugly so it does not hinder movement.

Do I need a tape, a spirit level or a laser level?

A tape measures lengths and dimensions, a spirit level checks walls, ceilings and surfaces. A laser level makes marking lines over a large area easier, for instance when laying cable routes or fitting suspended structures.
