Description
The black Ajax GlassProtect Jeweller listens with an electret microphone and recognises breaking glass up to 9 m away across a 180° horizontal field. Its DualTone algorithm raises an alarm only when it hears both a dull impact and the sound of shattering within 1.5 seconds, so barking dogs or thunder do not cause false alarms. It connects to an Ajax hub via Jeweller at up to 1000 m and its CR123A battery lasts up to 7 years; it is not suited to glass with shockproof or decorative film.
