Description
The Dahua LR1002 is a passive converter that carries Ethernet over coaxial cable: one 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port and one BNC. Over RG59 it delivers 100 Mbps up to 400 m and 10 Mbps up to 1000 m, supports IEEE 802.3/802.3u and auto MDI/MDIX. Paired with an ePoE switch, camera power travels down the same coax, up to 25.5 W at 100 m and 15 W at 400 m. It is a practical way to move an old analog system to IP cameras without re-cabling; surge protection is 6 kV, the unit measures 56 × 27 × 21 mm and works from –40 to +60 °C.
