What is the difference between 1/4 and 1/2 inch sockets?

1/4" sockets and a ratchet suit small fasteners and tight spaces at low torque. 1/2" handles heavy joints: vehicles, machinery and large nuts. Both sizes often come in one kit and can be linked with an adapter.

What is included in a tool kit?

Kits differ: usually sockets with a ratchet, spanners, screwdrivers and bits, sometimes pliers and a hammer. The exact list is in each kit's product card.

Should I choose a tool box or a tool bag?

A box keeps its shape, sorts tools into compartments and carries heavy kits; a bag is lighter, easier to carry and has roomy pockets. For frequent trips between sites a bag is better, for a workshop or vehicle a box.
