Description
Wood drill bit, 8 mm in diameter, 200 mm overall length. Made in China. The diameter suits pilot holes for screws, wooden dowels and plugs in battens, plywood and boards. The short length is handy for boards and plywood, where rigidity and accurate positioning matter. Drill at medium speed and withdraw the bit from time to time to clear the chips. Before drilling, clamp the workpiece in a vice or with a clamp and mark the centre, so that the bit does not wander and the edge does not split.
