Every W2(868) device works with a Dahua wireless hub on the same band, so a system is built around the hub: for an apartment, motion detectors in the rooms, smoke and leak detectors in the kitchen and bathroom, a panic button by the door. Dual PIR + microwave technology cuts false alarms from draughts and heat, and anti-masking is needed outdoors where a detector could be covered. On a large site or with thick walls the range is extended with a repeater. The multi-IO transmitter and input expander connect old wired detectors to the hub, and the ARM7022 relay switches lighting or a lock on an alarm. Equipment is sold by the piece or as kits at wholesale prices with next-day delivery in Tbilisi.

Frequently asked questions

What does W2(868) in a detector name mean?

W2 is the second generation of Dahua wireless devices, and 868 is the operating frequency in MHz used for alarm systems in Europe and Georgia. Such a detector works only with an 868 MHz Dahua hub, not with 433 MHz.

Why is a PIR + microwave detector better than a plain PIR?

It alarms only when both channels see movement at the same time, so false alarms from heaters, draughts and sunlight are far fewer. Such a detector can be placed near windows and air conditioners.

How far from the hub can a detector be?

Up to 1,200–1,600 m in open air depending on the model, and much less inside a building because of walls and floors. If the signal is weak, an ARA43-W2 repeater is placed between them — it serves up to 128 devices.
