Description
The Dahua HY-GC21B-W2(868) is a wireless carbon monoxide alarm with an electrochemical CO sensor that picks up a leak accurately and quickly: it responds to 50 ppm within 60–90 minutes and to 100 ppm within 10–40 minutes. The LCD shows the CO concentration, three LEDs (red, yellow, green) indicate alarm, fault and power, the sounder exceeds 85 dB at 3 m, and a single press silences it for about 45 seconds. It links to the hub over 868 MHz radio up to 1,000 m in open space, with frequency hopping and AES128 encryption; self-test and low-battery warning are included, and the battery lasts 3 years. Fitted in a house or flat with a gas water heater, stove or fireplace, together with a Dahua alarm hub.
