Network & power
The network switches include simple and PoE models from Cudy, hardened Dahua PoE switches with SFP ports and Uniarch PoE switches; routers and Wi-Fi are Cudy models from Wi-Fi 4 to Wi-Fi 7, including Mesh. The 17 power items are 12 V and 24 V power supplies for CCTV and alarms, plus Ultracell 12 V batteries for backup.
- Network switches (70)
- Routers and Wi-Fi (24)
- Power supplies (17)
Choose a switch by camera count and PoE budget: it needs more ports than cameras and total power above their draw. A router depends on the size of the home or office and the number of devices. Size a power supply with 20 to 30 percent headroom over the total load. ASB Trade sells everything by the piece or as kits at wholesale prices, with next-day delivery in Tbilisi.
Frequently asked questions
How many ports should a PoE switch have for my cameras?
Take more ports than cameras and add one for the recorder (or uplink). Check that the switch's total PoE power exceeds the cameras' combined draw and that the standard (PoE, PoE+, 802.3bt) suits the cameras.
Should I choose Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7?
Wi-Fi 5 is enough for a small flat and everyday use. Wi-Fi 6 copes better with many devices at once, and Wi-Fi 7 makes sense for the latest phones and fast internet. For a large house a Mesh system gives more even coverage.
How do I choose a power supply for cameras and alarms?
Go by the devices' voltage (most often 12 V) and add up their current draw in amps; the supply should deliver 20 to 30 percent more than that sum. If the site needs protection during a mains outage, add a 12 V battery.
