Description
Toolmak wood chisel, 1 1/4″. The 1 1/4″ blade width suits cutting grooves, fitting tenons and chamfering wooden workpieces. Work the chisel away from yourself with both hands behind the cutting edge, and clamp the part in a vise or with a clamp. Keep the edge sharp: a dull chisel slips and cuts poorly, so hone it on a stone. After use, wipe the blade and store it in a sleeve or apart from other tools so the edge is protected.
