Description
The Dahua ASR1200E is a compact reader for Mifare-type IC cards at 13.56 MHz with a 0–5 cm reading distance and a 0.1 s response. It connects to the controller over RS-485 or Wiegand34 and supports OSDP; 12 V DC power, only 0.6 W consumption. The IP66-rated ABS body works from –30 to +65 °C, so it can be fitted inside or on the street side of the door; size 97×44×17 mm, surface mount. It has a buzzer and indicator, overcurrent, overvoltage, lightning and short-circuit protection, and a watchdog that recovers the unit after a fault. Serves as a remote reader for ASC-series controllers at an office or apartment-block door.
