Description
The Dahua ASR2201A is a slim reader for Mifare IC cards at 13.56 MHz: reads from 0–5 cm with a 0.1 s response, tempered-glass panel on a polycarbonate body, size 135×40×15 mm. Outputs are RS-485 and Wiegand34 (configurable to Wiegand26), power 12 V 0.5 A, consumption no more than 0.9 W in standby and 1.7 W in operation. IP66 protection with silicone sealant permits indoor and outdoor mounting, a tamper alarm reacts to removal attempts, and a buzzer and indicator confirm each read. All ports carry overcurrent and overvoltage protection and a watchdog restores operation after a fault. The narrow shape makes it easy to fit on a door frame in an office, hotel or apartment building.
