Description
The Dahua HY-BM-1712 is a hand-held programmer for addressable fire alarm devices: it writes addresses to detectors, modules and sounders, steps the address up by one automatically when programming in sequence, confirms success with a beep and shows a failure message on the display. It also diagnoses the loop, measuring line voltage and resistance, counting devices across the whole loop and plotting them on a chart, and it can test switching a device on and off. It runs on 6 V and outputs 16 or 24 V; after a long idle period it drops into a low-power sleep mode. White housing 47.3 × 160 × 31.4 mm, 167 g, operating range −10 to +55 °C, CE.
