Description
The Dahua HY-L131 is a wireless smoke detector with LoRa radio that works with the WG-1037 gateway over up to 1500 m in open air or through 3–5 walls indoors, joining an addressable system with no cable. Its dual photoelectric chamber with a BLC algorithm picks up smoke accurately and adjusts the threshold as it gets dirty; in alarm the built-in sounder exceeds 80 dB at 3 m, and the unit also reports low battery and tamper. The 3 V, 1400 mAh battery lasts about 3 years (standby current up to 15 µA), and the button provides manual alarm, silence for up to 100 s and reset. The answer where cabling is hard or unwanted: older buildings, rented premises, heritage sites.
