Description
The Dahua HY-SA30A-R8 is a standalone smoke alarm with 868 MHz radio that links up to 24 identical units into one group: when one detects smoke, all the others sound too, so it covers every room of a private house, a duplex flat or a small guesthouse. The split-spectrum photoelectric sensor samples every 9 seconds and at a 0.2–0.3 dB/m threshold raises an audible (85 dB at 3 m) and visual alarm; with the built-in battery, installation ends at fixing it to the ceiling. One button runs the test and a 12-minute silence, the alarm can also be hushed with an infrared remote, and the unit warns by itself when the battery is low.
